Escape: Buried is a hand-drawn escape-room adventure that takes place entirely inside a wooden box, six feet down. You wake in the dark with the lid a hand's width from your face. There is a lighter in your pocket and not much air. Everything you need to get out is already in here with you — in your own pockets, in the lining of your shoe, under the shroud, wedged in the planks. You just cannot see most of it yet. WHAT YOU DO Light the space and look properly. Turn your head left, right, up, down, and search every surface of the coffin: the boards, the corners, the shoe, the wallet, the pockets. Pick up what you find and work out what it combines with. Then there are the numbers. A phone with a dead screen and a keypad. A box that wants four digits. Codes are hidden in the things you have already picked up, and reading them the right way round is most of the puzzle.
